Bingo Fundraisers

Working City Centre Bingos is a benefit to all parents and children involved with the Clavet Arena.  The funds raised through these bingos allow the Arena to provide ice time to Minor Hockey and the Skating Club at subsidized rates.  In addition, the funds provide upgrades to the facility, purchase and maintenance of the Zamboni, protective glass, heating and lighting, and many other necessary items.  This provides a wonderful facility for our recreational activities.

The following is a list of requirements that must be met:

  1. Each player/skater are required to work a minimum of two bingos for the Arena, unless otherwise advised

  2. CMHA hockey fees include $300 per player to cover the required bingos which is reimbursed once bingos are worked

  3. Those electing not to work the bingos will not receive a reimbursement of the fee

  4. To qualify for a full reimbursement of these bingo fees, all required bingos must be worked by May 31 of the current season

If you work your bingos from April to the beginning of September these bingos will count towards the coming season.

Kids must be 14 to work at a bingo.

To work Balls, you must be 18 years of age or older.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Bingo Coordinator at (306) 227-2312 or bpottle77@gmail.com

Bingo dates and sign-up will be posted and updated on the website.

Bingo Positions

Runner: As a runner you will go around selling bingo papers on the floor.

Balls: This is a good place to start if you have never worked a bingo before.  Balls is a game that is played at the same time as bingo.  You sell balls cards on the floor to bingo goers.

Radio: As a person that works with the radio you get called only when a bingo gets called, you will be reading the bingo card out. This is a great job for kids who are working as they don’t have to deal with cash.
